If you haven't come across the Brit Chicks, chances are you soon will do. Not only have the girls won the first ever global reality pop contest 'Poptastica', but they have also launched their first single 'Midnight Curfew' and their virtual world at www.britchicks.com.
Are they for real? Well, kind of...
The Brit Chicks are owned and managed by Brand Champions, who have created the girls and the storyline behind them. Dubit have created the virtual world to bring the girls to life in a site designed for young girls aged 7 - 12. Not only have Dubit created the site but we have also developed and implemented the marketing campaign which broke on the 1st October.
The marketing campaign has involved engaging hundreds of girls and parents in the development process of the site and allowing these 'adorers' of Brit Chicks to promote the site from launch.
Thousands of Brit Chick VIP cards have been handed out through a peer to peer programme which has also been supported through TV, print and online activity. Only 20 days into the campaign and we've doubled the target number of registrations for month one - now there's a case study you know you want!
