Dubit News

We are pleased to welcome Emma Bramald to Dubit as our new Finance Manager, having taken over from Caroline Kelly. Emma has worked for a number of local companies in Management Accountant, Analyst and Credit Control roles including Berwin and Berwin, International Produce, Arena Business Machines and Hitachi Capital.

We wish her the best in her new role and hope she has a long and successful career at Dubit.

Also…..earlier this month Dubit were invited to participate in the panel debate at the BBC on the issue of:

DE-CONSTRUCTING OUR AUDIENCE: IS COMMERCIALISM RUINING CHILDHOOD?

The debate centred on the issues facing children commercially and included Agnes Nairn, Tanya Byron, Rae Burdon from the Advertising Association and Neil Ross Russell from the BBC as well as Ian, MD of Dubit.

The debate highlighted that there are some awful examples of organisations not considering or blatantly ignoring their responsibilities when researching or marketing to young people. It also reconciled that the youth research and marketing industry needs to have a voice to highlight the good work that they do. This whole issue needs to be considered in a rational and considerate manner and Dubit are pleased to be helping lead the way in this process.

We have no great pictures of the debate but we did get to meet Bob the Builder!!
